This week, I will be trying a recipe for my favorite dessert, zucchini bread from http://allrecipes.com/recipe/moms-zucchini-bread/!
Ingredients
3 cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon of baking powder
3 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
3 eggs
1 cup of vegetable oil
2 ¼ cups of white sugar
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups of grated zucchini
Procedure:
Grease and flour two 8×4 inch pans
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees
Sift the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon together in a bowl
Beat the eggs, oil, vanilla, and sugar together in a bowl
Add the sifted ingredients to the creamed mixture, and beat well
Stir in the zucchini
Pour the batter into the prepared pans
Bake for approximately 40 to 60 minutes
Cool in the pan for 20 minutes
Remove the bread from the pan and completely cool
Enjoy!
My Thoughts: I thought the zucchini bread was perfect! It had a really rich taste, resembling pumpkin bread! I have no critiques!
