Granville High School Drama Club is really excited about some upcoming plays.

Drama teacher Sarah Sharps has been finding a lot of different plays this year that she thinks kids will enjoy and find funny. These include “13 ways to screw up your college applications” “Midsummer Jersey” and “Cinderella.”

“We have already cast the show and started rehearsals for our first fall play which will be the first weekend in November” Sharp said.

The winter play is called “Midsummer Jersey” which is an interesting take on Shakespeare, but set on Jersey shore.

“It’s a great way for students to interact with some Shakespeare but in a very fun, silly, ridiculous way,” Sharp said.

Students have had meetings and have been planning out this year.

“I am excited for my second year of Drama this year because we will be in person” tech student Megan Hooper said.
