Every April in the weeks leading up to Easter, candy sells out in stores. People bulk up on Easter candy for different reasons, for example, Easter egg hunts. Easter egg hunts usually appeal to younger kids, but adults still love to eat candy too. This year, I reviewed the 8 best Easter candies that you should stock up on.

  1. Solid Chocolate Bunny

Solid Chocolate Bunnies are just chocolate bunnies that are filled on the inside with the same hard chocolate on the outside. The chocolate is always good, but after you it a small amount of it, you are full and can not eat anymore. The bunny is made of too much chocolate. Compared to the hollow bunny, the solid bunnies are a lot harder to eat and they take a lot more time and effort to finish. The hollow ones are better because they are easy to eat and they have the perfect amount of chocolate. The solid chocolate bunny is the eighth-best Easter candy.

  1. Jelly Beans

Jelly beans are jelly-filled candy that are small and shaped like a bean. There are so many different flavors of jelly beans. During Easter, other brands like Sour Patch Kids, Sweet Tarts, Starbursts, Swedish Fish, Jolly Ranchers and so many more, make Jelly Beans that taste like their main candy. Usually, all of the Easter special jelly beans taste really sweet and savory and are very similar to the brand’s main candy. Along with these special Easter jelly beans, there are also regular flavors. Any blue, green, orange, pink, red, and white jelly beans are good, but any jellybean that is black or brown, for example, licorice, is not a good flavor. Overall, jelly beans are the seventh-best Easter candy since some of their flavors are not adequate.

  1. Milk Chocolate Eggs

Milk chocolate eggs are small egg-shaped pieces of chocolate. The most common chocolate eggs are milk chocolate eggs. They are filled from the inside out with chocolate, leaving no gaps for any other fillings. The eggs are very delicious and the chocolate melts in your mouth once you bite into it. Milk chocolate eggs are the sixth-best Easter candy.

  1. Peeps

Peeps are a very controversial candy. Not a lot of people like them. Younger kids usually are more drawn to peeps. It is also fun for younger kids to put them in the microwave and watch them become distorted. You can get the marshmallow candy covered in colored sugar, in the shape of either bunnies or chicks. The sugar they are coated in makes them have a more unique flavor than just regular marshmallows. Peeps are the fifth-best Easter candy.

  1. Chocolate Marshmallow eggs

Chocolate marshmallow eggs are very similar in shape to a Reece’s Peanut Butter Egg. They are marshmallows coated in hardened chocolate. The chocolate and marshmallow combination is very delicious and it makes the candy taste almost like a smore. The chocolate marshmallow egg is the fourth-best Easter candy.

  1. Easter M&Ms

Easter m&ms are just m&ms that are pastel colors. Usually, they are pastel pink, purple, blue, green, and yellow. They have the perfect crunch from their outer shell and the chocolate melts in your mouth. Their colors are better than regular m&ms. Overall, Easter m&ms are the third-best Easter candy.

  1. Hollow Chocolate Bunnies

Hollow Chocolate bunnies are chocolate bunnies that are hollow inside and they have no filling. Hollow bunnies are very good and they have just the right amount of chocolate. There is not too much chocolate, but there also is not too little. When compared to the solid chocolate bunny, the hollow one is better because the solid one is full of too much chocolate. Hollow chocolate bunnies are the second-best Easter candy.

  1. Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs

Reese’s eggs are the best Easter candy and are very popular. They are the best Easter candy because they have more peanut butter in them than regular Reese’s Cups do.  The Reese’s eggs are arguably better than a regular Reese’s cup. This is because they have a better ratio of peanut butter and chocolate. They are full of a chocolate peanut butter flavor and when the two flavors are combined, they taste very suitable. Reese’s Eggs are the first best Easter candy.
