Supporting small, local businesses will be a huge part of the holidays this year. Due to COVID-19, many small businesses are struggling financially because of the lack of customers and modified store hours. Here are 5 of the local shops and galleries that you can support this holiday season:

Newkirk Salon Spa

Newkirk Salon Spa offers spa services, haircuts, hair color, nail art, makeup and waxing. As an Aveda Salon, they sell Aveda and Davines products, ranging from hair masks to makeup.

During the holidays, Newkirk hosts their annual toy drive through Toys For Tots. (INCLUDE MORE INFO FROM INTERVIEW)

Kussmaul Gallery

Kussmaul Gallery offers items such as artwork, home decor, home fragrance and picture framing, all of which are great gift ideas for the holidays.

Blue Ace Media is produced, edited and managed by students at Granville High School. This publication provides an educational experience for students interested in journalism and an opportunity for the sincere expression of all facets of student opinion. It is funded by students through fundraisers, advertisements and donations.

The goal of Blue Ace Media is to provide the high school student's perspective on relevant issues concerning the school, the community and the world. The publication reflects the policy and judgment of the student editors. Faculty advisers advise on matters of style, grammar, format and suitability of materials.

Opinions expressed in Blue Ace Media are not necessarily that of the entire staff, the student body, the school or the district.

Letters to the Editor
Blue Ace Media welcomes feedback in the form of Letters to the Editor. To submit your feedback, please email your full name and your letter of around 300 words in length to [email protected]. Letters are subject to discretion and editing, for length, taste and libel.
