Head Coach Urban Meyer and the Ohio State Buckeyes get set to face the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors on Saturday at 3:30 pm in Columbus.
In the much anticipated matchup, the Buckeyes held off an energized Virginia Tech Hokies team with a 42-17 victory on Monday.
Cardale Jones got the nod from Urban Meyer as the starting quarterback over JT Barrett and Braxton Miller. Miller, now sporting the jersey number 1, was electric in his debut as an H-Back and wide receiver hybrid for the Buckeyes. Miller had 2 receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown. Miller also rushed for 62 yards on 6 attempts including a 53 yard touchdown highlighted by a SportsCenter top 10 worthy spin move.
Jones had his bright spots as he completed 9 passes on 18 attempts for a measly 186 yards. He tossed 2 touchdowns and 1 interception in the victory.
JT Barrett made a brief appearance and flipped a 26 yard touchdown to Michael Thomas to seal the victory in the fourth quarter.
The Buckeyes remain atop of the polls with the victory and continue their route to defending their National Championship in week 2 of the already entertaining 2015 season.
