The volleyball team traveled to Newark Catholic High School determined to earn redemption for their hard loss to the Green Wave earlier in the season, Wednesday evening.
The warm-ups were heated, each team wanted it so badly it was visible on the court. Since it was the Green Wave’s senior night, a redemption game for the Blue Aces and the game that determined the LCL champions, stakes were higher than ever.
The Blue Aces gained momentum by winning the first two sets in a best three-out of-five match, but that wasn’t enough. The Green Wave stole the game back winning the next three consecutive sets and the league title. Despite this loss, the Aces are determined to continue their winning season and make a run at the state title.
