The BAM staff is celebrating 25 seniors from the Class of 2025! Starting May 1, we’ll highlight one randomly selected senior each day as we countdown to graduation. The third senior is Owen Parks.
What has been the highlight of your senior year?
Probably making friends.
What is your favorite memory of your time in high school?
Hanging out with friends in and out of school.
What are your future plans?
Go to college, get a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity and get money.
What will you miss the most about high school?
My friends that I won’t be able to hang out with.
What are you looking forward to after graduation?
Summer.
What was your favorite school lunch (alternatively, favorite thing you’ve brought)?
Grilled cheese and tomato soup. I’d go through like 10 of them.
What Portrait of Graduate competency do you identify most with?
Most likely adaptable. Things change in life, and I’ve learned that you just have to change with it.
What was your favorite class?
Probably Ace period with Mr. Slavinski or any English class with Mrs. V.
What was your favorite class project?
I liked writing a paper on whatever we wanted to in the 4th quarter of CCP English. It felt engaging and I felt that I actually wanted to do it.
What advice would you give underclassmen?
Don’t take it too seriously. Enjoy being a kid.
