The BAM staff is celebrating 25 seniors from the Class of 2025! Starting May 1, we’ll highlight one randomly selected senior each day as we count down to graduation. The eighth senior is Megan Lodge.
What has been the highlight of your senior year?
The highlight of my senior year has been making new friends and connections.
What is your favorite memory of your time in high school?
My favorite memory from high school is getting to go to Disney World freshman year with the orchestra and arts department.
What are your future plans?
My future plans are to attend Lehigh University to play Division 1 softball.
What will you miss the most about high school?
I will miss my teammates and the bonds and experiences I had with all of them.
What are you looking forward to after graduation?
After graduation I am looking forward to hanging out with my friends and not having to do homework (for a little while).
What was your favorite school lunch (alternatively, favorite thing you’ve brought)?
The favorite school lunch I had was either the pizza boats or grilled cheese.
What Portrait of Graduate do you identify most with?
I identify most with being resilient because whether it’s academics or athletics I always try to push through and keep going at it even if I keep failing.
What was your favorite class?
My favorite class was Sports Medicine or AP Calculus because because the people who were in these classes made it so much fun and easier and my teachers were great.
What was your favorite class project?
My favorite class projects were putting on skits in French class because it was always so fun to make a script and act it out with my friends.
What advice would you give underclassmen?
My advice to underclassmen would be to not let anything stop you. Sometimes there are many roadblocks that may want to cause you to stop trying especially if you keep failing, but don’t give up because eventually you’ll get it.
