The BAM staff is celebrating 25 seniors from the Class of 2025! Starting May 1, we’ll highlight one randomly selected senior each day as we count down to graduation. The fifth senior is Alex Organ.
What has been the highlight of your senior year?
The highlight of my senior year has been playing on the golf and tennis teams for the last time.
What is your favorite memory?
My favorite memory of my time in high school was going to Cedar Point for our IAP field trip last May.
What are your future plans?
I will be attending The Ohio State University and studying Pharmaceutical Sciences.
What will you miss the most about high school?
I will miss seeing my friends everyday, because I have grown up with them for the last 13 years.
What are you looking forward to after graduation?
I am looking forward to hanging out with my friends one last time before we all go off to different colleges.
What was your favorite school lunch (alternatively, favorite thing you’ve brought)?
My favorite school lunch was probably pizza.
What Portrait of Graduate competency do you identify most with?
I identify most with being resilient, because things will not always go your way, so it is important to be ready for anything and persevere to get through difficult situations.
What was your favorite class?
My favorite class was either AP Government with Mr. Hopping or AP Lang with Mr. Mullins.
What was your favorite class project?
My favorite class project was the Multi Genre project in sophomore year English with Mrs. Smith.
What advice would you give underclassmen?
I would tell underclassmen to try their best to stay motivated during senior year. It is important to continue to stay focused because a lot of important things happen during senior year, like applying for colleges.
