School’s OUT, Summer’s IN: The student guide to summer in Ohio
Come the end of May, flowers bloom, trees are green again, and the warm weather has returned. With the arrival of summer, countless kids will have their final class of the academic year and be out of school for the next three months. Most people don’t know what to do with that seemingly endless time, so we’ve compiled a guide to help you make the most of those 90 days. The first essential step is understanding what makes a good summer. This varies from person to person, but the most fundamental piece of a good summer is doing what you enjoy, whether it be an early morning walk, a night time trip to a skate park, a campfire, a big concert, or swimming with friends, make sure you’re doing what makes you happy.
