The BAM staff is celebrating 25 seniors from the Class of 2025! Starting May 1, we’ll highlight one randomly selected senior each day as we count down to graduation. The twelfth senior is Cannon Fink.
What is your favorite memory of your time in high school?
Being on the BAM staff. It is stressful at times, but it’s worth the time and effort put in, and it’s really fun. Plus, it looks really good on a resume.
What are your future plans?
I plan on going to Kent State University and majoring in English.
What will you miss the most about high school?
My friends and the connections I’ve made with teachers.
What are you looking forward to after graduation?
Summer! I have a lot of trips lined up for break, and I’m so excited!
What was your favorite school lunch (alternatively, favorite thing you’ve brought)?
For the entirety of sophomore year, for lunch, I exclusively ate Chobani Flips. I can’t stand them now.
What Portrait of Graduate do you identify most with?
Mrs. Tolbert says I’m collaborative. I work with a lot of people on the BAM staff.
What was your favorite class?
I loved my sophomore year world literature class. Learning about other cultures was enriching and exciting. A close second was my freshman year English class.
What was your favorite class project?
My favorite class project is probably the one I’m working on now in SDL. We get to research anything and learn about whatever we want. I choose to study and analyze 1920s fashion in Britain and the correlation it has to their economy.
What advice would you give underclassmen?
It’s okay to not be okay, you are not alone, help is all around you.
