As first semester comes to an end, the yearbook staff are scrambling to get all of the pictures in for the 2014-2015 yearbook. Unfortunately, one thing is slowing them down: Many seniors have not turned in their pictures for the yearbook.
“Currently, the yearbook staff is missing 68 baby pictures and 28 senior headshots,” said yearbook adviser Judith Henderson.
This year seniors were asked for a senior headshot and a baby picture to fit the theme of “Our Legacy: It begins and ends with us.”
Pictures were originally due the day before Thanksgiving break. The deadline was extended to the day before Christmas break. However, seeing as many students have not turned in their pictures still, they are still accepting them but will not accept any after spring break.
The yearbook staff is looking for ways to get students to turn in the pictures in a more timely manner. Next year they will be accepting all pictures digitally in hope that this will help the turn in process, said Mrs. Henderson.
