Field Hockey: The girls field hockey team finishes their season UNDEFEATED, shining a (14-0-1) record as they move into the tournament. This is the first undefeated field hockey team in school history. The team outscored their opponents 56-1.
Boys’ Golf: Coury Rogers finished his season as the last man standing on the golf team. He fell in the district tournament.
Girls’ Golf: The team did not make it out of sectionals, as they did not finish first out of sixteen teams.
Football: The Granville football team beat Lakewood 42-0. Their record moves to (7-1). They will play in a very important game against Licking Valley this upcoming Friday. Football Friday Night will be hosting activities after the game, including a spike ball and ultimate Frisbee tournament.
Boys’ Soccer: The Granville boys soccer team wins a very close and exciting game on their senior night against Columbus Academy, winning 3-1. They clinched the LCL title earlier in the week with a win over Johnstown. Their record moves to (12-3-0), as they look to make a deep run in the playoffs.
Girls’ Soccer: The Granville girls soccer team won 9-0 against Heath, as they also clinch a LCL title earlier in the week in their win against Johnstown. They move to (12-3-2) on the season as they also move on in tournament play.
Tennis: Eleanor Male falls in the district tournament after a very strong Junior season.
Volleyball: The Granville girls volleyball team defeats an undefeated Ashland team, who was (21-0) before the match. This game was a tune-up game for the OHSAA tournament. Following this match, the team won their first game of the OHSAA tournament against Linden-McKinley in three dominating sets. The team plays Columbus Independence in their next match-up.
