With Fall, comes an endless number of binge-worthy shows. Luckily, Netflix and Hulu is available 24/7. New episodes include the second season of “Riverdale” and “Stranger Things”, as well as the release of a new show “The Good Doctor.”
“Riverdale” stars a cast of teens who unravel secrets about their seemingly picturesque town. While juggling high school drama, the cast must solve mystery after mystery. Season two features a hooded villain on a murderous rampage. Archie (KJ Apa) and the gang must come together despite any personal drama, and save Riverdale yet again.
The second season of “Stranger Things” lives up to the yearlong hype. The cast is back with even more danger, jokes and 80s style. Season two has all the glamour and gore of season one but with even bigger risks. The upside down comes back full force, and even more secrets come to light. Will returned a year ago, and everyone is high strung during this anniversary. Coincidentally, it also is Halloween. Between a new arcade, awesome costumes, a love triangle and Will’s dreams, this season is a mustwatch.
“The Good Doctor” stars an autistic doctor who desires to save lives. This show can make one feel every emotion during a single episode. Through Shaun’s (Freddie Highmore’s) childhood flashbacks, the audience learns more and more about his adolescent life. It tugs on your heartstrings and reveals his reasoning behind his profession. This show is better than any old doctor show, and strays from the cliched plots. It’s refreshing and has something for everyone. The Good Doctor features a brilliant surgical resident. One who is on his way to become not just a good doctor, but the best one yet.
Anyone will find a new, favorite show this fall. Whether you like mystery, romance, or high-energy, one can find something they love. Riverdale is on the CW channel on Wednesdays at 8pm, and The Good Doctor is on ABC Mondays at 10pm. Stranger Things is a Netflix original and can be streamed on the app. Be sure to check these shows out.
