The BAM staff is celebrating 25 seniors from the Class of 2025! Starting May 1, we’ll highlight one randomly selected senior each day as we count down to graduation. The ninth senior is Rory Karon-Lackey.

What has been the highlight of your senior year?

What is your favorite memory of your time in high school?

My friend breaking the window in study hall last year.

What are your future plans? 

Get my bachelors in geology at The University of Texas at Austin.

What will you miss the most about high school? 

Seeing my friends every day.

What are you looking forward to after graduation? 

I am going on a road trip all over the country to see national parks with Ethan Viveralli.

What was your favorite school lunch (alternatively, favorite thing you’ve brought)? 

I liked the chicken bacon ranch pizzas.

What Portrait of Graduate do you identify most with? 

Responsibility.

What was your favorite class?  

AP Biology.

What was your favorite class project?  

The podcasts we did in Mr. Powell’s class.

What advice would you give underclassmen? 

If you plan on staying in the state for college, take CCP courses.
