Editorial Policy
The goal of Blue Ace Media is to provide the high school student’s perspective on relevant issues concerning the school, the community and the world. The publication reflects the policy and judgment of the student editors. Faculty advisers advise on matters of style, grammar, format and suitability of materials.
Opinions expressed in Blue Ace Media are not necessarily that of the entire staff, the student body, the school or the district.
Letters to the Editor
Blue Ace Media welcomes feedback in the form of Letters to the Editor. To submit your feedback, please email your full name and your letter of around 300 words in length to ghsblueprints@gmail.com. Letters are subject to discretion and editing, for length, taste and libel.
Comment Policy
Blue Ace Media appreciates comments from our online readers on our website and on social media. Our goal is to foster productive, relevant discussion. All comments must be appropriate and are reviewed before being published. We, therefore, reserve the right to remove any comments that are determined to be inappropriate, including any comments that contain foul language; racist, sexist, or otherwise offensive remarks; spam; and/or personal attacks. All comments must be signed. Although we do our best to review comments as quickly as possible, please allow at least 48 hours for your comment to be approved. If you feel that your comment has been incorrectly deleted, please contact us at ghsblueprints@gmail.com.
Advertising Policy
We reserve the right to refuse to print an ad for any reason.
Student Submission Guidelines
In the spirit of democracy, Blue Ace Media encourages students to voice their opinions and open needed discussions on topics that Granville students are passionate about. The editors invite student-written submissions to be considered for publication in the printed issue and on Blue Ace Media.
The Editor-in-Chief and/or Social Media Editor will review all student submissions. The adviser may also be consulted. The Stampede staff reserves the right to reject any submissions that do not follow the following guidelines:
- Submissions should adhere to the AP stylebook rules
- Submissions must be signed by the author(s); anonymous articles will not be published
- Submissions must remain within 250-400 words
- Submissions must follow Blue Ace Media’s Editorial Policy and Comment Policy
Submissions will be edited for grammar, clarity and length. Students must be willing to make any revisions to their article as needed
The Student Submission Guidelines can be changed at the discretion of the Editor-in-Chief, Social Media Editor and/or Adviser, with consultation from other editors as needed.
