2018-19 OSMA Awards

Granville High School’s BluePrints newsmagazine earned the All Ohio award, which is the highest rating by the Ohio Scholastic Press Association (OSMA) for the first time in school history. The website received a second place rating. Additionally, the staff won 38 individual OSMA awards including 6 Superiors, 13 Excellents and 19 Honorable Mentions.

Led by editor-in-chief Sarah Carpenter, the members of the 2019-20 BluePrints staff are Jake Barry, Faith Blankemeyer, Emily Gold, Paige Grunden, Andy Hoben, Lauren Kiernan, Liam McCamish, Anna Mialky, Kennedy Ogden, Grace Portzline, Gavin Robinson, Nicholas Williams and Molly Wilson.

Editorial Policy

Introduction
Blue Ace Media is produced, edited and managed by students at Granville High School. This publication provides an educational experience for students interested in journalism and an opportunity for the sincere expression of all facets of student opinion. It is funded by students through fundraisers, advertisements and donations.

Editorial Policy
The goal of Blue Ace Media is to provide the high school student's perspective on relevant issues concerning the school, the community and the world. The publication reflects the policy and judgment of the student editors. Faculty advisers advise on matters of style, grammar, format and suitability of materials.

Opinions expressed in Blue Ace Media are not necessarily that of the entire staff, the student body, the school or the district.

Letters to the Editor
Blue Ace Media welcomes feedback in the form of Letters to the Editor. To submit your feedback, please email your full name and your letter of around 300 words in length to [email protected]. Letters are subject to discretion and editing, for length, taste and libel.

Blue Ace Media is primarily produced by students enrolled in the Multimedia Journalism, Publications, and the Blue Ace Media club; however, all Granville High School students are invited to get involved.
