What does being on the staff of Blue Ace Media mean to you?

Being on the Blue Ace Media staff has allowed me to learn a different way of writing and expand my general knowledge about writing as well. Along with this, the act of publishing my work has given me renewed hope that I can also publish my future works in a bigger way. 

What is your favorite assignment?

My favorite assignment was my multimedia article about the idea that music helps limit stress. The reason why I enjoyed this article so much is because it allowed me to create many different types of media and put them all together into one. 

What advice do you have for upcoming journalism students?

Make sure to use your creativity within your stories and be confident in your writing. Also enjoy the time you have in class with your classmates and Mrs. Tolbert, this class is not like any other!

What is your favorite high school memory?

Being able to experience my freshman year alongside my sister, Karah Van Horn, who was a senior. 

What are your plans after high school?

Attend Fairmont State University, play soccer and study English.
