What are some ways you’ve been involved at GHS outside of class?
I was in choir for three years as well as Women in STEM.
What’s one fun or surprising fact about you that most people don’t know?
I have been to nine concerts since freshman year.
What’s been your favorite memory at our high school so far?
The BMX people coming in for a pep rally.

Seeing all the fun hallway decorations!

“Gimme More” by Britney Spears. It’s a super fun throwback!
What makes you most proud about being an Ace?
We have an amazing arts program and I love going to all the plays!

Football, basketball, and lacrosse

I like playing golf.

Beating Licking Valley at home in football sophomore year.

Going out to eat at nice restaurants with friends.

Being able to play sports with my friends.
EON WALTER
What are some ways you’ve been involved at GHS outside of class?
I am in the Drama club and work with the film club. I also run Crochet Club and Poe Fo’ Show Club.
What’s one fun or surprising fact about you that most people don’t know?
I go line dancing every week and know roughly twenty dances.
What’s been your favorite memory at our high school so far?
Acting in “Chicago” my freshman year.
What’s your favorite part of Homecoming week?
Wearing a silly little sash is pretty fun.

“Fake ID” because I know the line dance for it.

I like the community and the way I can explore my own interests in class.

What are some ways you’ve been involved at GHS outside of class?
I play football and I like to attend other GHS team’s games.
What’s one fun or surprising fact about you that most people don’t know?
I like Cane’s chicken fingers.
What’s been your favorite memory at our high school so far?
The win vs Heath my sophomore year. And lacrosse bus rides my freshmen year.
What’s your favorite part of Homecoming week?
My favorite part about hoco week is the dance bc I really like to dance and have fun.

“Summer Love” by Justin Timberlake because it’s a fun vibe and I can dance to it.

I love being a Blue Ace because of the strong community and excellence
AVA PHILLIPS
What are some ways you’ve been involved at GHS outside of class?
I’ve been playing lacrosse for three years now. I have been in Varsity G before.
What’s one fun or surprising fact about you that most people don’t know?
I would say I’m a pretty open book. Everyone pretty much know everything.
What’s been your favorite memory at our high school so far?
I love being a student section leader at the football games with all the energy everyone brings.
What’s your favorite part of Homecoming week?
Seeing all the hallways decorated and who wins.

“Wobble” because it is easy to dance to and so catchy.

I would say how inclusive everyone can be. Also there is usually lots of participation in anything we do.
WILLIAM BUKULA

DECA, Spanish Club, Spanish Honor Society, Boy Scouts, baseball, football.
What’s one fun or surprising fact about you that most people don’t know?
I have a peanut allergy.
What’s been your favorite memory at our high school so far?
When I first got into a varsity football game as a freshmen.
What’s your favorite part of Homecoming week?
Hanging out with friends and classmates.

“That’s What I Like” by Bruno Mars. The crowd will go nuts!
What makes you most proud about being an Ace?
All the friends and close bonds I have made along the way.
MARGARET MCDONALD
What are some ways you’ve been involved at GHS outside of class?
I run cross country, and indoor and outdoor track and field.
What’s one fun or surprising fact about you that most people don’t know?
I love watching Premier League soccer with my younger brother Paul!
What’s been your favorite memory at our high school so far?
Running in XC meets with all of my teammates, especially when people get PRs!
What’s your favorite part of Homecoming week?
Spirit Week, I love seeing everyone all dressing similar each day and having the halls decorated!
If you could pick one song to play at the Homecoming dance, what would it be?
Mr. Brightside, because most people know it and I feel like everyone can scream all of the lyrics.
What makes you most proud about being an Ace?
I am proud to be an ace because of how we are able to come together as a community and support each other.
ANDREW BUSACK
What are some ways you’ve been involved at GHS outside of class?
I am actively involved in the theater program, acting in the plays and musicals each year. I also am involved in the music department, participating in band and choir (plus many subsets of these groups, including jazz band, marching band, and the Blue Notes).
What’s one fun or surprising fact about you that most people don’t know?
While this is kind of lame, a fun fact about me is that I am left handed.
What’s been your favorite memory at our high school so far?
Wow, this is hard . . . probably performing in the “25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” musical with many of my friends and my sister!
What’s your favorite part of Homecoming week?
I LOVE decorating the hallway as a class officer. It brings me joy to see my vision come together, and I enjoy working with my friends to accomplish something cool!
If you could pick one song to play at the Homecoming dance, what would it be?
Also hard . . . perhaps “Beauty and a Beat” (Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj) because I LOVE this song in “Just Dance,” and it’s super catchy and upbeat!
What makes you most proud about being an Ace?
I love seeing my Blue Ace buddies come together during this week (and throughout other points of the year, too, of course), participating in spirit week days, working on the hallways and enjoying an exhilarating pep rally, football game and dance!

Basketball, theater and Acapellas.
What’s one fun or surprising fact about you that most people don’t know?
That I am a really good baker/cook.

What are some ways you’ve been involved at GHS outside of class?
I do a lot of sports like baseball, football, basketball, wrestling and I have played other sports in the past.
What’s one fun or surprising fact about you that most people don’t know?
I am a huge Cleveland Browns fan.
What’s been your favorite memory at our high school so far?
My favorite memory at high school would be either the spirit weeks that I love to go all out for, or the one time a bat flew into the school and someone threw a backpack at it.
