This week, I will be making a pasta recipe from myrecipes.com for Bow Ties with Tomatoes and Feta!
- 6 ounces of farfalle (bow tie pasta)
- 2 cups of grape tomatoes, halved
- 1/3 cup of thinly sliced fresh basil leaves
- ½ teaspoon of minced garlic
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- ¼ teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
- 4 teaspoons of olive oil
- 1 package of crumbled feta cheese
Procedure:
- Cook pasta according to the package directions; drain
- Combine cooked pasta with the tomatoes and basil in a large bowl
- While the pasta cooks, combine the vinegar and the next four ingredients (through pepper) in a smaller bowl, stirring with a whisk
- Gradually add oil to the vinegar mixture, stirring constantly
- Drizzle the vinaigrette over the pasta and toss well to coat
- Add the cheese
- Enjoy!
My Thoughts: The pasta was so good! The grape tomatoes were at the perfect consistency! The flavors of the tomatoes with the feta cheese blended so well! By far, my favorite recipe I have done thus far!
