Before the race, the girls team made a huddle to discuss and go for their game plan.
Lead by senior Kara Bergeon, the girls cross country team won the DII OHSSAA Cross Country District Championship at Hilliard Darby on Oct. 21. All of the runners placed in the top 25 at Districts, including Bergeron who placed first with an outstanding time of 18:34:22.
They advance to OHSAA Regionals on Oct. 28 at Pickerington North.
