



The Story of the Ace
Granville’s teams were originally called the Blue and White, but in 1927 student journalist Milton Fitch renamed them the “Blue Aces” after a standout year in football and basketball. He chose the “Ace” to represent skill and excellence, and the nickname has stuck ever since. For the whole story, click here.
