What is your Take Action project focused on? Providing info on ticks to keep the public safe and how to proceed when encountered with ticks.
Why did your group choose this focus for your project? Because ticks have become very prevalent in Ohio over a short amount of time so we wanted to provide information and help out the public as much as we could
What has the project process looked like up to this point? Tons of E-Mails to all sorts of companies and people who we needed permission from to put our stations on their land. We also had to meet with people to discuss how many stations we should put up and what kind of resources and people we would need to complete this project
Why is your project important (especially environmentally)? Helps with information on ticks and how they could be dangerous, along with this our stations will be used to collect data on the ticks to see which types are the most popular in Ohio.
