Girls basketball tied for first place in the LCL

BY JORDAN GUMMERE (‘17)

The girls’ basketball team is 9-4 overall, and is striving to overtake sole possession of first place in the league. With a tie for first place in the LCL with Lakewood, the team is working this year with all their blood, sweat and tears.

They have been playing their way up in the ranks and working toward a strong finish.

“Our team has really bonded this year and we are close on and off the court which definitely contributes to how we play! We are all working hard to create a great season.” senior Maggie Michael said.

They play Lakewood on Jan 25. It will be their “Box Out Lyme Disease game”, and if they win they will be standing alone in first place.
