HANNAH MUSICK (18’)
Every girl waits for a reason to get all dolled up and have a special night. After homecoming the gap between that event and prom is too long. Winter formal, also known as Winfo is a great chance to wear your favorite winter dress and get prettied up for the big night. Here are three different looks to go alone with the winter theme of the dance.
The first look is a simple look for girls who don’t want to go all out. A very easy makeup look only using concealer, eyeshadow (brown in the crease with a shimmering white on the lid), winged eyeliner, and blush. Then, for the hair just a straight middle part to add something different. For the outfit, a plain black dress with black heels for a quick winter formal look.
For the second look, it’s for more of a more of a non tight dress kind of girl. The makeup is a light eye shadow (pale pink all over lid), concealer, powder, and red lipstick. The hairdo is an up style with a french twist on both sides and put in to a pony that was twisted as well. For the outfit, the dress is a black, strapless, flowy dress with plain black heels. This look is perfect if you just want to look classy and not worry about the fit.
The last look is for a girl who wants to go all out for winter formal. Starting with makeup I did a smokey eye (black in the corners with silver on the lid), concealer, blush, bronzer, highlight, eyebrow filler, and a clear lipstick. For the hair I used a waver to give more of a unique curl to the hair. As for the outfit, the dress was a sparkly body con with sheer sleeves, and black strings hanging around the dress.
With all of these looks you can make it your own with accessories, different makeup looks, hair, and even shoes can help make you stand out during winter formal.
