This week, I will be trying a recipe for my favorite dessert, zucchini bread from http://allrecipes.com/recipe/moms-zucchini-bread/!
Ingredients
- 3 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 3 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup of vegetable oil
- 2 ¼ cups of white sugar
- 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups of grated zucchini
Procedure:
- Grease and flour two 8×4 inch pans
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees
- Sift the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon together in a bowl
- Beat the eggs, oil, vanilla, and sugar together in a bowl
- Add the sifted ingredients to the creamed mixture, and beat well
- Stir in the zucchini
- Pour the batter into the prepared pans
- Bake for approximately 40 to 60 minutes
- Cool in the pan for 20 minutes
- Remove the bread from the pan and completely cool
- Enjoy!
My Thoughts: I thought the zucchini bread was perfect! It had a really rich taste, resembling pumpkin bread! I have no critiques!
