Students usually fill up the football student section, and this year is no exception. For all other fall sports, the student support is pretty thin.
What Fall school sporting event do you attend the most?

Going to school sporting events is a good way to hang out with your friends while still supporting your school and peers. Coming to sporting events makes the teams play harder, knowing that their classmates and friends are there watching them. Grab a couple of your friends and go to a boys’ soccer game or a field hockey match. This will not only boost school spirit but make you feel better knowing you are supporting your school.
There are plenty of upcoming sporting events for you to attend and support.
On Monday, the girls’ soccer team has a match against St. Francis Desales at home. The girls’ team is having a very successful season with a record of 6-2-1 and 4-0 in the league. Following on Tuesday, girls’ tennis has a home match versus Canal Winchester, currently 3-5 this season. Also on Tuesday, the boys’ soccer team plays St. Francis Desales at home, another big game. The boys are 6-1 and 3-0 in league play. Volleyball has a match versus Utica at home on the 26th. Volleyball is currently undefeated in league play and looking to continue that streak. They are 11-2 and 8-0 in the league. Field Hockey has a home match October 5th versus Lancaster and look to continue their magical season after beating Watterson and Columbus Academy. Finally, football plays friday September 29th versus Licking Heights and look to go 5-1 on the season.
All of our fall athletes have worked hard this season. Our fall sports are dominating in almost every aspect, something that most schools don’t have the luxury to say. Continued support is needed for our sports programs to keep up their great seasons so far. As a school we should support our friends and classmates. Going to different school sporting events gives our school a sense of pride, something everyone can enjoy. To me, going to support your classmates is one of the most important things you can do while you are in school.
