Editorial Policy

Introduction
Blue Ace Media is produced, edited and managed by students at Granville High School. This publication provides an educational experience for students interested in journalism and an opportunity for the sincere expression of all facets of student opinion. It is funded by students through fundraisers, advertisements and donations.

Editorial Policy
The goal of Blue Ace Media is to provide the high school student's perspective on relevant issues concerning the school, the community and the world. The publication reflects the policy and judgment of the student editors. Faculty advisers advise on matters of style, grammar, format and suitability of materials.

Opinions expressed in Blue Ace Media are not necessarily that of the entire staff, the student body, the school or the district.

Letters to the Editor
Blue Ace Media welcomes feedback in the form of Letters to the Editor. To submit your feedback, please email your full name and your letter of around 300 words in length to [email protected]. Letters are subject to discretion and editing, for length, taste and libel.

Comment Policy
Blue Ace Media appreciates comments from our online readers on our website and on social media. Our goal is to foster productive, relevant discussion. All comments must be appropriate and are reviewed before being published. We, therefore, reserve the right to remove any comments that are determined to be inappropriate, including any comments that contain foul language; racist, sexist, or otherwise offensive remarks; spam; and/or personal attacks. All comments must be signed. Although we do our best to review comments as quickly as possible, please allow at least 48 hours for your comment to be approved. If you feel that your comment has been incorrectly deleted, please contact us at [email protected].

We reserve the right to refuse to print an ad for any reason.

Blue Ace Media is primarily produced by students enrolled in the Multimedia Journalism, Publications, and the Blue Ace Media club; however, all Granville High School students are invited to get involved. What made you come to the state as an exchange student?

I have always been dreaming of spending a year abroad and trying to do everything by myself and this was the perfect challenge

Was there something that influenced you to come?

In Italy every teenager dreams to live in the U.S. even for a short period and see if it’s like in the movies

What was the biggest challenge you’ve experienced here?

I think about making new friends and of course speaking all day in another language

What was the best memory here?

Since I’m here I think of Homecoming, I had so much fun with my group

What do you want to learn during this year?

I really want to learn English in the best way I can, and I want to learn how to face and solve problems by myself.

What is your favorite thing here so far?

I really enjoy the football games and the fact that we don’t have to pay for water in restaurants ahaha

How do you relieve stress?

I usually listen to some music or spend some time outside with my family
