I am sure that all of you have heard of the well-known coffee shop, Starbucks, which is currently the leading coffee house chain. As of 2015, they had 22,557 stores open worldwide, with their closest competitor being McCafé with 5,044 stores.
My last visit at Starbucks consisted of a quick stop, but it was definitely worth it. I tried the Vanilla Bean Creme Frappuccino for the first time and immediately did not regret it.
The taste was strikingly similar to that of a milkshake, and when looking back at Starbucks´ menu, that is almost exactly what it is. It contains a blend of vanilla bean, milk and ice, with a dollop of whipped cream on top.
Even though I chose to go with a less caffeinated drink this time, Starbucks offers a wide variety of drinks ranging from no caffeine, to lots of caffeine.
According to ThisIsInsider, if you are looking for a major caffeine boost, a Drip Coffee is the way to go. Espresso is often the coffee that is known for having the most caffeine, however, ¨although espresso has more caffeine per volume, the drip coffee´s larger size means it dominates in the caffeine department.¨
If that much caffeine doesn’t appeal to you though, there are plenty of less caffeinated options as well. To see the whole menu, click here.
Usually when I go to Starbucks, I am impressed with the speed and precision that the baristas put into making the drinks, and this time was no different. Almost immediately, they called out my name and handed me the cool, creamy drink.
In my opinion, I think that Starbucks is at the top of the coffee chain for a reason; they offer a wide variety of drinks that are unique from other coffeehouses and give their customers their order in a timely manner.
Next time you are looking for a quick stop, Starbucks is the place to go.
