Girls cross country proves their talents yet again

With a mix of new and experienced talent, the girls cross country team finished the season as the Division 2 state runner-up in their thirteenth consecutive appearance at the state meet. Being the only senior on the team, Regina Rose, has had her leadership abilities tested, but did more than anyone could have expected.

Rose was named an All-Ohio and All-District runner this season and placed first in the League, District, and Regional Meet. She placed fifth at the state meet with junior Zoee Lehmann closely behind, placing eighth.

The team has had a phenomenal season, with a record of 113-12. Even after losing many talented seniors over the past few years, the girls cross country continued to work hard and improve. The girls will start training for the indoor track season in a few weeks in hopes to continue their success in multiple relays and individual events.
