With a season-ending loss to Bishop Hartley 47-36 in the sectional semifinal, the boys basketball team has nothing to hang their heads about.

As a young team coming into the season and losing star guard Carsyn Crouch to injury, the Aces weren’t looking hopeful, but the team pushed through adversity. With a close loss at the beginning of the season to a very good Heath team, momentum was starting to go their way.

Dante Varrasso played a huge role in leading the team in the right direction. The Aces grinded through the season, even upsetting Licking Heights in overtime.

When it came to the end of the regular season the boys climbed to the top. They beat Licking Valley 58-56 to have a share of the LCL Buckeye Division Title with Licking Heights. With a great season, some players earned rewards for their hard work.

Dante Varrasso earned first-team LCL and first-team District 11. Colt Shaw and Dylan Niedermeyer Both earned 2nd team LCL. Rex Rader and Max Rosinski both earned Honorable Mention LCL. The Aces finished the season 14-9.

With a lot of great games played this season, the team has a bright future with all of the young talent returning for next year.
